KSB Alumni Association – Social Media Policy
The KSB Alumni Association is committed to maintaining the integrity of our online presence and community spaces by creating a welcoming, professional, safe, and respectful environment for all who engage with us on social media platforms. Prohibited conduct includes unwelcome verbal, visual, or written content on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, age, national origin, disability, genetic information, gender identification, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. Additionally, disrespectful, offensive, or threatening comments; harassment; stalking; bullying; intimidation; or use of profanity are strictly prohibited. All individuals who post, comment, or otherwise interact on our social media channels are required to adhere to this Policy on Prohibited Conduct.
Any person who believes that he or she has experienced or observed behavior prohibited by this policy may report the conduct to the Alumni President. Any third party who believes he or she has witnessed prohibited behavior toward another person is strongly encouraged to first communicate with the affected individual to confirm that such behavior was considered inappropriate and warrants a report.
Upon receipt of an allegation reported under this policy, the Alumni Association will review the matter, offer opportunities for informal resolution when appropriate, and may conduct a formal review or investigation. Based on the circumstances, action may include removing offensive content, restricting or banning the individual from the Association’s social media platforms, and/or limiting participation in future online and in-person events.
