Welcome to the Kentucky School for the Blind Alumni Association. Organized by former Superintend Paul J. Langan in 1946, the purpose of the KSB Alumni Association is to provide educational, charitable, research, peer support, and other such services to as may be beneficial to the blind and visually impaired. The KSB Alumni Association is proud of its historical relationship and support it has offered to students and staff of the Kentucky School for the Blind.

KSB celebrates 184 years of education and service

The Kentucky School for the Blind Alumni Association invites you to the 184th Founders Day Program on Thursday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m.

This year’s event highlights the history of the KSB Colored Department and honors Dr. John E. Musick with the 2026 Paul J. Langan Distinguished Service Award.

Keep up to date with activities of the KSB Alumni Association by attending monthly meetings hosted via Zoom. Meetings take place the fourth Sunday of the month at 8:00 p.m. Send an email to ksbalum@gmail.com for the Zoom link. The KSB Alumni Association also hosts an Annual Conference and Convention
